Physiology permeability experiment.....I need help!?

I have to design an experiment to study the permeability of membranes to different types of molecules with the suggested following materials: funnel, beaker, (cellophane nylon) as artificial membrane, (distilled water, starch, NaCl, gall bladder, and thread. I have wrote out some ideas but I dont think they are good enough.....Can anyone help me out with some more ideas on how i should design the experiment? how would you prepare it?
