How to make fake fingerprints?

Hi iam a final year electronics and communication student. I want to know how to make fake fingerprints. Iam doing a project on prevention of forgery in fingerprint biometrics. So i need some fake fingerprints of my thumb. How do i do it? i tried with cellophane tape and glue but it didnt work well. They either got smudged or the fingerprint scanner cannot detect it.I want to create perfect fake fingerprints so that my project could be successful.Please someone tell me. is there any chemicals or something? How do these ppl in james bond movies do it???
